Omar Mewborn is a seasoned Nonprofit Leader with over 20 years in the Human Services/Mental Health Industry working with At-Risk Youth and their Families. He is a Military Veteran and has also worked for a multitude of years advocating for resources and benefits for his fellow Veterans. Omar brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to every agency that he engages with.
Omar holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Studies and hold several other professional certifications enabling him to work with an diverse population of youth and their families. He has had a burning desire to help those in need since a young age. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent (S.0202982) who understands the importance of and the American Dream of home ownership. Additionally, he is the Founder and Executive Director of Absolute Transformation which is a Nonprofit 501 (c)(3) youth organization providing mentoring, life skill training, career exploration, and life coaching to young children.
Omar is married to his loving wife of 26 years and they have six wonderful children. His life goal and charge is to work diligently to assist others in embarrassing the motto of “It takes a Village.” He is always eager to help and listen to those willing and able to provide knowledge, wisdom, and best practices relating to community capacity building. Real Estate is yet another opportunity to help and he is eager to assist others achieve their dream of home ownership.
